Superb colours. Tree supplied 60/80cm in 7.5lt pot

Awarded by the RHS for it's amazing display of autumn foliage. A large leaf japonicum that makes a real statement in the garden and provides a great backdrop for some of the smaller growing maples and flower borders.

A very popular tree so mostly sold out. Mostly purchased for the spring foliage which is yellow/green with red edges, often described as lady's fingernails although not quite the same tree. Tsuma gaki has a larger leaf than tsuma beni.

Aoyagi .... Such a fantastic tree. Bright lime green in spring with green bark that stands out similar to sango kaku (but green) in winter. This tree goes golden yellow in autumn so is really useful to make colours pop.

Rich dark red foliage.

bright pink/red spring colour

A nusery favourite. Ornatum is definitely a must for all collectors. Multicolored tree. Emerging pinky bronze in spring and keeps the orange colours until late summer when she briefly turns yellow green before changing to a multi coloured bright orange. The tree is a dome forming dissectum and grows to about a 4ft globe in UK . In a pot, expect a 3 ft dome. Will cope with quite a sunny position although can get caught by early morning frost so prefers on and off sun if possible. A classic tree that is easy to maintain.

Again another classic easy grow tree. This is a green dissectum that grows into a lovely dome. The beautiful fresh spring green is extremely popular and useful to set the bright spring foliage of trees like deshojo and beni maiko. Has a longer leaf than emerald lace and doesn't take over the garden. In fact 3 ft x 3ft in a pot and a little larger in the ground. In the ground it will have a layered effect. Autumn foliage is rather spectacular with arrays of lemon, gold and bright orange. Lovely tree

Acer palmatum Shiraz

Brightens up an area. These are well branched slow growing aureums that are about 70cm tall and 8 years old. Due to its slow growing nature, aureum does tend to be slightly less value for money than the quicker growing Jordan.
