Acer palmatum Tattoo

This is a stunning little tree with small star shaped leaves, variegated and dusted with pink in spring, It is really dainty and seems to be growing into shelves giving it true Japanese feeling. We really like this little tree. 6ft in 10 years, turning bright red in autumn. Hardy.

This beauty is new to Hippopottering. We acquired them last year.  They are tiny, so so cute, like a little pompom.  Very similar to Mikawa yatubusa and also dwarf and tightly packed foliage. Pics to follow.

Tree supplied 2 years old, really only 15cm, but what do we expect from such a small slow growing tree.  Expect it will be very popular in alpine gardens and for bonsai enthusiasts
