Acer palmatum Shigure bato

This is one of my favorite maples of all time.   For me it has everything.   Grows to about 4 ft in 20 years in a sort of dome forming layered tree, often with lovely pink and green seeds hanging from her.

Spring foliage is gold with red edges and the leaves are somewhat dissected but not a fine dissectum.  Green/gold in summer with and explosion of very bright autumn foliage.

Although we have stocked this lovely tree for over 40 years, it has only just made it onto the website as it usually sells out quickly in the nursery. I hid them this year so I could bring them to the website.

Tree supplied 2 to 3 years old and 25/30cm in height 1ltr pot
