Kashima is a very small, slow growing Acer with palmate leaves.
It grows to 2 - 3 ft eventually, with a nice rounded head. One of the earliest maples so needs protection.
Spring foliage orange turning yellow then bright orange in the autumn. Very popular with small gardens.
