A tall acer reaching 10ft, but very upright with only a 3-4ft spread.
The tiny leaves emerge bronze and quickly turn to strong green.
The leaves themselves upwards and inwards and often look as if they are still unfurling.
This makes a good background tree and is especially good for a small space when wanting some height for your collection.
