'Beni Shien' is one of the few red maples with variegation.
It is able to grow in hot humid full sun positions without losing colour. The leaves are large and deeply dissected.
Spring leaves are red changing to purple with a cream edge, autumn colour orange.
At full height can be 10' , but maintains a tight compact habit.
Tree supplied 2-3 years old, 8-10" (20cm)
