About us...

Hippopottering Nursery Started Life way back in 1982, this was a hobby for Mr John F P Gibbons. After Mr Gibbons retirement in 1985, the hobby grew into a small business with the help of his wife Margaret. The knowledge of the nursery was enhanced by his correspondance with JD Vertrees of Oregon, USA.

Hippopottering Nursery is now run by Patricia Gibbons, Johns daughter. 11 years ago she started working along side her mother (Margaret) and in 2006 she took over the nursery completely.

We are a small company, that believe in good quality trees and customer service.
